TLC Announces the Winners of the Inaugural 2007 C.A.R.E Awards

The Customer Appreciation and Recognition of Excellence (C.A.R.E.) award was initiated by TLC to recognize deserving customers for their leadership roles in specific areas, including continuing education, community service, customer satisfaction, innovation, safety, training and quality improvement. Each year TLC will recognize and award outstanding clients for leading the way in areas that greatly improve the way TLC and the client work together, as partners, to succeed.

The C.A.R.E. awards are voted on by a select group of Corporate Management, Advisory Board Members and employees. The nominated clients are reviewed for their contributions towards specific criteria, as well as their efforts in making a safe and healthy working environment.

TLC is proud to recognize two very special clients, Toll Integrated Systems (TIS) and Bimbo Bakeries for their achievements in their respective areas of leadership. Toll Integrated Systems (TIS) has clearly distinguished themselves for their "Excellence In Innovation." TIS has developed an outstanding training program utilizing the latest technology in DVD video training tools. TIS also developed a creative hands-on training program, enabling new drivers to train in the warehouse to gain knowledge and understanding of the various products. To support TIS's commitment to total customer satisfaction, tenured drivers conduct ride-along training with new drivers, and participate in practice deliveries with new drivers before they proceed on their own.

Toll Integrated System's commitment to their drivers by creating a safe working environment, supported by comprehensive driver training has set them as an industry benchmark and leader.

TLC is proud to recognize Bimbo Bakeries USA, for their dedication and loyalty to TLC since 1993. The partnership that TLC and Bimbo Bakeries have been able to develop over the years has ensured that the highest quality drivers have been recruited with the highest level of commitment and dedication. We are very pleased that the drivers really exemplify the commitment and Customer Care to all who interact with Bimbo Bakeries.
