  The Bush Administration is working to increase the Department of Transportation's budget by $67 Billion. Of that money, $42 billion will be used for highway construction with over $20 billion to fund safety programs and initiatives.   The following article from TruckingInfo.com discusses the U.S. Secretary of Transportation's plans to reduce traffic tie-ups on several of the nation's busiest highways. Many of the corridor improvements under this 'Corridor of the Future' plan will help decrease traffic and congestion on the routes traveled by TLC drivers. If approved and completed, this plan will benefit not only TLC drivers but TLC clients as well.
