Kobe Bryant Memorabilia Auction Starts October 15 Our grand opening celebration last month was a huge success with a stellar group of area leaders in attendance and extensive media coverage. A very special highlight was presentation of ceremonial "keys to the City" to Lakers star Kobe Bryant and his family. Bryant also signed a special T3 Series vehicle for auction on eBay with proceeds going to the museum. Read more Children to Gather for International Reading Event Families are invited to visit Pretend City on Oct. 8 to participate in Read for the Record. On that day, children will gather to read the same book, on the same day, in communities all over the world. This year's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
