Q: What's your daily function at Percentix?

A: My daily tasks vary based on the specific engagement and the team, but ultimately I am responsible for the overall planning and execution of projects from diagnosis to deployment. This includes requirements gathering, scope definition and management, application design, build, testing, problem solving, managing deliverables and team members, post production support, etc. It is also my responsibility to develop relationships with clients and keep them informed and involved with the project.


Q: How long have you worked at Percentix?

I have worked at Percentix for 2 1/2 years, since September 2005.


Q: How does your experience and expertise benefit clients?

A: My FP&A background and involvement with implementations as both client and consultant have exposed me to a wide range of businesses, designs and lessons learned. This experience helps me more quickly understand the business practices and requirements for new clients, and translate these into application design.

Prior to Percentix, I was the internal lead for a large-scale Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Reports implementation at ArthroCare Corporation (NASDAQ: ARTC). I presented this solution as a success story at the 2004 Hyperion Annual Global Conference.

At Percentix I have worked with several clients including Allianz Dresner Fund Management, Toshiba America Electronic Components (TAEC), FOX International Channels, Inc, and Oakley. A significant part of my time with Percentix has been spent leading the TAEC project, which was recognized with an InfoWorld 100 Award in 2007.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University, and also hold professional certifications for Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase.


Q: What do you like most about Percentix's clients?

A: Many of our clients have been large-scale engagements. This has given me the ability to build long-term relationships and establish trust with the clients. I enjoy creating solutions that makes their jobs easier and creates satisfaction. And of course every client approaches things differently so it is always interesting to learn new things and tackle unique challenges.


Q: What do you like most about Percentix?

A: The people. We have a diverse group, but share common set of values and work ethic that have led to our success. Each engagement gives me the opportunity to work with a new mix of people and I am always impressed with the creativity and drive of our team. I especially enjoy working with the executive team and feel I have learned quite a bit from their collective experience.


Q: What do you like to do in your spare time when you're not helping clients? Any hobbies?

A: I am an avid sports fan! I enjoy playing and watching almost any sport you can imagine. My husband, Rob, and I enjoy visiting family and friends and experiencing new places, so much of our free time is spent traveling. I am also a wine enthusiast and we make regular trips to local wineries and restaurants. Any remaining free time is usually spent with my nose in a book!


Q: If you could travel anywhere around the world, where would you go? Why?

A: Rob and I are frequent travelers and we attempt to go somewhere new every year. Last year we traveled to Spain and southern Africa (Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa), new places for both of us. High on our list for future destinations are Australia/New Zealand, South America and Greece.


Q: What's your favorite TV show or movie?

A: I don't know that I could pick a favorite. I tend to gravitate towards the extremes - either very light but funny or engaging movies that make you think or create discussions after seeing them. "Office Space", "Anchorman" and "Crash" are among my favorites.


Q: Where did you grow up?

A: I spent most of my childhood in New England - Massachusetts and New Hampshire - before my family moved to Georgia. I currently live in Los Altos, CA, but still root for the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics!
