For one company, the business driver behind an EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) software purchase may be a struggle to stay ahead in a global market. For another, it could be a need for management process reengineering to reduce costs and improve efficiency. For a third, it might be virtualization and the improvement of intercompany collaboration within a supply chain. Whatever the reason, information drives performance, and the advances in the performance management software market since March 2005 make it possible for these systems to fully deliver on their promise.
