Percentix Profile:
Chris DeBeer, Managing Director
For market leaders that want to stay on top, it seems that growth is inevitable. This holds true for Irvine, CA-based Percentix, the market leader of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) strategy and implementation, which opened its Denver, Colorado office in 2007. And who better to help lead Percentix's market growth than Chris DeBeer, Managing Director, who has worked with some of the largest companies in the country.
Based in Denver, Chris is responsible for the success of some of the company's largest client partnerships. He oversees the delivery of large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help clients achieve their EPM goals.
Over the years, he has worked with the best of the best. Chris successfully managed a massive Hyperion Planning implementation for Lockheed Martin Space Systems, the largest implementation of its kind in the West Region at the time. For banking giant Washington Mutual, he also coordinated and delivered one of the West Region's largest Master Data Management initiatives. And his experience isn't just limited to Hyperion; Chris has extensive experience in numerous technology platforms including Microsoft, Oracle and SAP that he uses to help clients solve their problems.
Chris' expertise enables him to successfully advise nearly any organization, from large to small. His years of experience boasts a wide range of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and insurance, aerospace and defense, business services, computers and technology and retail and consumer packaged goods; allowing him to advise clients on issues related to strategy, people, process and tools.
In the world of enterprise performance management, Chris has done it all. He manages the full EPM program management lifecycle experience, from start to finish: Diagnose, Design, Deliver and Deploy. In fact, Chris conceived and developed both the D4 Engagement Approach and the SERVE Methodology for Percentix. More than simply an expert for hire, Chris is a trusted adviser with unparalleled expertise in business information strategy, financial data management, data governance and compliance, financial process improvement, organizational design and transition and financial capability development and training.
And Chris is no stranger to tall tasks. Prior to joining Percentix, Chris held the position of Services Manager for Hyperion Solutions Corporation where he managed all of Hyperion's implementations for the Western Canada, Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain Regions. Chris was promoted to the Services Manager Position after only four months with Hyperion where he turned a faltering services organization and performance laggard into one with the largest services engagement in the history of the region in less than a year. Chris was named the 2006, Q4 Services Manager of the Quarter for his outstanding performance.
His earlier roles in the fields of EPM, Business Intelligence and Finance have included serving as Operational Intelligence Analyst in the United States Navy, Assistant Controller at General Mills, Investment Banking Associate in Wachovia's Strategic Advisory Group. As Group Manager of FP&A & BI at Colfax Corporation Chris spent extensive time in Europe, particularly Germany, working on mergers and acquisitions and other financial process improvement initiatives. He has also held positions as Director of North American Sales at Decision Support Panel AB, a Microsoft Gold Certified ISV specializing in business intelligence dashboard technology.
Before heading west, Chris earned a BA in Economics, with distinction, from the University of Virginia, where he also earned his MBA from the university's highly-revered Darden School (currently ranked 4th by Forbes and 10th by the WSJ).
Chris lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with his wife Kristen and their three children Jack (age 7), Ellie (age 5) and Owen (age 18 months). When not spending time-off with his family, Chris is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys trail running, mountain biking, skiing, fly fishing and playing golf.
