Pivotal "Education in the 21st Century" Event
Will Take Place January 10 at Lutheran High

Plans are well underway for a very special event scheduled for early January to take place at Lutheran High School with the spotlight on the Orange Lutheran Online program. Entitled "Education in the 21st Century," the event will be held in the high school's beautiful Nechita Center and hosted by Generation NeXt, a network of young business and community leaders committed to making a difference by empowering individuals and causes to provide long-term solutions that will better our individual and collective futures.

Keynote speakers will be Brian Mueller and Ken Ellwein. Mueller is President of Apollo Group, Inc., which is the parent company of University of Phoenix, the nation's largest accredited private university. Ellwein is Executive Director of the Lutheran High School Association of Orange County. Together, University of Phoenix and LHSOC have teamed up to develop and deliver the groundbreaking Orange Lutheran High School Online.

Also attending the event are expected to be influential elected officials who have an impact on education policy and will have an opportunity to learn how the Orange Lutheran High School Online is addressing many of the pressing issues facing schools and families today.
