Welcome,
What a year it's been! I'm sure many of us will not be disappointed to see it fade into the history books. However, even with the challenges faced by the world economy and the unrest in some parts of the world, we are equally certain that each of us has much for which to be thankful in both our personal and professional lives.
For KCOMM, it has been an exciting 12 months indeed!
Strategic Relationships Thrive
One of the activities we find most satisfying is bringing together people with common interests around a timely theme or issue. This year, we again saw this dimension of KCOMM play a key role. Topics we focused on included clean energy, alternative transportation technologies, the YMCA Youth & Government program, and keeping children and teens safe on the Internet. Through special events created by KCOMM and involvement in important professional gatherings, we find the interaction and mutual productivity in these environments leads to significant opportunities for all concerned.

We were blessed to welcome several new clients to the KCOMM roster this year. T3 Motion is a world leader in the development of all-electric, clean-energy vehicles for a wide range of situations including law enforcement, security, military, retail, parking, campuses, deliveries and events. Another is the City of Anaheim and their innovative Great Anaheim Apps Challenge designed to generate ideas for Web and mobile apps from the general public to make the city an even better place to live, work and visit.
AIM Mail Centers is a national retail chain of business solution centers that has built a strong presence for their local stores as active members of their communities and experts in supporting the small businesses and independent business people in their areas. Kingston Technology is the world's leading provider of memory products for computers, mobile devices, cameras and more with a very innovative solid-state computer drive recently announced. And, finally, Building Africa is a new and very special non-profit organization devoted to designing and building sustainable facilities for people in rural areas of Africa with the goal of helping them improve their lives for the long term.
Social Media Has Arrived
Social Media is a new industry opening many doors for PR and Marketing agencies
Social media like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, Twitter and blogs are growing fast as an integral element in the marketing mix for all organizations. This new approach builds communities based on the sharing of information between tightly aligned groups with common interests. Key advantages are the ability to constantly update information, reach out to people, and create an exchange with high value. We are helping all our clients understand and leverage this new world.
