Happy Halloween
We are pleased to announce a special Signature Event on the timely and important topic of clean-energy transportation technologies to be hosted by T3 Motion, Inc., in Costa Mesa on Monday, November 9. Our keynote speaker will be U.S. Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, accompanied by T3 Motion CEO Ki Nam and CFO Kelly Anderson. Also participating will be representatives of the YMCA Youth and Government program. Youth from the program recently visited T3 Motion to learn about clean-energy transportation.
The goal of the event is to highlight alternative transportation and next generation clean-energy technology with a focus on electric vehicles. The speakers will discuss near-term business opportunities and commercialization of alternative transportation solutions. Topics will include advances in electric vehicles as well as current Congressional activities and political directions. A product showcase will display T3 Motion vehicles.
I recently returned from a trip to France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. Many of these European countries are making investments into clean energy, evident with the widespread convergence to electric, low emission busses, trains and automobiles.
Sincerely,
Sinan Kanatsiz

Social Media Revolution Advances
Why Businesses Need to Build a Proactive Strategy
The advent of social media has revolutionized the way people communicate and interact over the last few years. Not only are people using social media websites as portals for real-time information, but as means to build both personal and business connections. Click here for a great Social Media video
Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are quickly becoming an integral part of businesses and their marketing efforts. Social media allow businesses to place themselves amongst their customers, thus allowing for closer interactions and a more personalized feel. For instance, if a business decides to jump onto the social media bandwagon at Facebook, it would quickly have access to the 300 million users on the site, for free. Now that's instant gratification! Aside from the numbers, businesses are finding it easy to learn what their customers truly want, their feelings about products, and their wish-lists. Even employers are looking to the social media revolution for potential employees. About 80% of companies now use LinkedIn as their primary employee recruitment tool. Social media sites are undoubtedly an excellent tool for people and businesses alike.
KCOMM is helping clients reach their social marketing potential, and is proudly offering customized services to help businesses reach their customers personally and more effectively. KCOMM's social media services help target and acquire connections with potential clients via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Great Anaheim Apps Challenge Generates Over 200 Creative Ideas
Starbucks Gift Card Incentive Set for 100 Registrants as of Nov. 1
The Great Anaheim Apps Challenge announced recently by Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle is in full swing. Starting on Monday, November 2, the first 100 people who register and submit one or more ideas will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card (one card per registrant).
With just 30 days to go, creative suggestions are streaming in with ideas for mobile and Web-based "apps" to enhance city services, programs, entertainment and more. Winners will be awarded more than $5,000 in cash and gift prizes for the brightest ideas in five categories.
The Challenge is the first of its kind on the West Coast to draw ideas directly from the public input rather than from software developers. "Why not use a revolutionary concept like the mobile application to help government better serve the people of Anaheim?," Mayor Pringle said.
