Happy Halloween,

Strategic integration can often make the difference between generating solid results or achieving truly great accomplishments in business. Moreover, the definition of those results and accomplishments varies significantly from organization to organization. At KCOMM, we strive to help our clients see new opportunities and leverage those opportunities into growth. Examples of that perspective include our role assisting a major unit of Hewlett-Packard and Arrow Electronics in creating a highly innovative sales contest, a presentation to Orange County business leaders on the state of the Internet as a marketing environment, and the ripple effect that can be generated by assembling a select group of high-level individuals to share and learn about each other's areas of expertise. And we are proud to announce several new clients who are providing valuable products and services designed to have a transformative effect for their customers.

Also, the Airbus A-380 made its maiden flight this month. I thought I'd share with you this virtual presentation of their integrated suites. Click here to view.

Sincerely,

Sinan Kanatsiz

Arrow and HP Create "Amazing Race" To Motivate Resellers
KCOMM Helps Plan Event, Tracks Action Via Web and Video

Arrow, one of the world's largest providers of computer products and electronic components, and technology leader Hewlett-Packard have brought the "Amazing Race" concept to life for a select group of their reseller partners. The race was the culmination of a three-month sales contest created by the HP Group of the Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) unit.

The winning reseller team in each of five business categories participated in the race. Competition began in Las Vegas and extended through the California desert to Los Angeles and scenic Catalina Island with a final challenge in San Francisco and closing ceremonies at HP headquarters in Palo Alto with HP CEO Mark Hurd.

KCOMM assisted Arrow and HP in this exciting project with event planning consultation, a web site devoted to the sales contest, and an on-location video crew to record the entire event. In addition to providing information about the contest, the web site was used to post a photo gallery and updated standings the morning after each day's challenge. The video footage will be used to create an "Arrow ECS Amazing Race" presentation for the annual Arrow ECS Alliance Summit in November.

Portobello Event Generates Ripple Effect Among OC Leaders
High-level Interaction Builds on Shared Goals To Support Growth

The recent event created by KCOMM to gather Orange County leaders for an exclusive economic update from Chapman University President James Doti generated a ripple effect of communication and insight. Held at the majestic Portobello Estate on the Pacific shoreline in Corona Del Mar, the evening provided a unique opportunity for exchange between next generation business executives, philanthropists, elected officials and children's charities. These key groups of influential people were able to envision the intersection between their respective areas of expertise and how they can work collectively for the benefit of Orange County and Southern California.
