Hello,

Welcome to the January issue of the KCOMM Communications Alert.

KCOMM Joins Forces with the University of Phoenix, Lutheran High School and the United States Government to Reinvent High School.

The new year is off to a promising start here at KCOMM. Highlighting January was a very important and successful event on "Education in the 21st Century" which addressed pressing issues in American high school education and the power of the Internet to address those challenges. We also completed a new web site for an exclusive group called Echelon which brings together area business leaders who are looking to take their companies to the next level of innovation and success. Our agency resources were complemented by the addition of Kirsten Beck as Public Relations Account Executive. We welcomed three new clients to our roster. And a wide range of exciting projects are underway with our current clients. We sincerely hope 2007 is commencing with equal promise for all of you.

Landmark Event Focuses on Reinventing High School in America
Business Leaders, Educators, Elected Officials and Students Convene

A packed Alexandra Nechita Center for the Arts at Lutheran High School of Orange County in southern California was the site January 10 for an important gathering of stakeholders in the quality of high school education in the United States. With a focus on the convergence of technology and education, speakers outlined pressing issues facing America's competitive standing in the world, the need for significant innovation and new thinking in education, and the unique role online education can and is playing in meeting those challenges in preparing America's youth as leaders and citizens.

Created, coordinated and produced by KCOMM to bring attention to these crucial issues and highlight the groundbreaking online high school program developed by KCOMM client Orange Lutheran High School Online, the event was hosted by University of Phoenix, Lutheran High School of Orange County, Orange Lutheran High School Online, and the Internet Marketing Association.

Speakers included U.S. Congressman Ed Royce; Tracy Zubke, Senior Manager, Development & Construction, T-Mobile; Wing Lam, Founder/CEO, Wahoo's Fish Taco; Brian Mueller, President, Apollo Group (parent, University of Phoenix); and Ken Ellwein, Executive Director, Lutheran High School Association of Orange County (Orange Lutheran High School Online).

The event also included a specially produced video presentation spotlighting how online classes are enabling some exemplary Lutheran High students to achieve their dreams in fields such as business and performing arts while gaining a high-quality high school education. Closing the main program was a rousing performance by the Lutheran High School combined chorus of over 200 voices on the Nechita Center stage.

Following the program, guests were served lunch in the school's Executive Boardroom with a chance to make connections, discuss ideas for improving high school education through technology, and meet online students.

Kanatsiz and Rustman Unveil Exclusive New Organization
Designed as Forum for Sharing Wisdom and Expertise, Inaugural Television Show Features Next-Generation Visionaries Including McMonigle, Tanon, and Maloney

KCOMM CEO Sinan Kanatsiz and Todd Rustman, President of GR Capital Asset Management, have unveiled an exclusive new organization called Echelon. Both Kanatsiz and Rustman are co-founders and chairmen of the Orange County based group of business executives. Echelon is an invitation-only group catering to businessmen and women who represent the high-end, high-net-worth executive in today's marketplace. The mission of the organization is to be a forum for knowledge sharing. It is based on the concept that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Through the contribution of each member's wisdom and expertise, the entire organization will benefit and result in better business practices, less costly mistakes, and increased business success for each individual Echelon affiliate.

The new Echelon website can be found at www.echelonoc.com. A very exciting and dynamic aspect of the site is Echelon TV, a television show that is distributed quarterly to over a quarter million business people in California, Nevada and Arizona. Each episode highlights between four and six industry leaders covering cutting-edge trends and information in business and real estate as they relate to the Southwestern region. The inaugural edition of Echelon TV features Rustman; Kevin Maloney, President and CEO of QuantumSphere; Vic Tanon, President of Emplicity; and John McMonigle, President of The McMonigle Group.
