Welcome,

Welcome to the November issue of the KCOMM Communications Alert.

The holidays are always full of activities and this year is no exception. So we are highlighting a few important events planned by some of our clients. Interestingly, they all have a common focus - developing the educational and social skills of local young people to help them succeed in a world that is becoming more and more competitive every day.

We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a strong start to a prosperous and rewarding new year.

Generation NeXt Event Draws Great Success at the White House East Room in Yorba Linda

Generation NeXt assembled at the White House East Room at the Richard Nixon Library on October 26, 2006. Barney & Barney Garners 2006 Commercial Agency of the Year Award
Unique Capabilities Set Leading SoCal Firm Apart

San Diego-based insurance provider Barney & Barney has been honored with the 2006 "Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year" award from National Underwriter, the leading publisher of print, e-media, reference and software products for the insurance and financial services industries.

This prestigious honor was based on the company's unique expertise and capabilities that combine the resources of a national broker with the client service and attention of a firm focused on the needs of Southern California companies for nearly a century. These resources include sophisticated exposure analysis, an expert loss control team, claims advocacy, and client training to help avoid problems before they arise. The company takes an approach that is comprehensive and proactive with an emphasis on risk management.

"We take the long-term view of risk management, because we firmly believe it represents by far the best value for our clients," says Travis Trask, Principal and Managing Director of the firm's Orange County office. "It can actually result in 10-25% fewer losses with reduced overall exposure and the lowest net cost of insurance."
