Happy Holidays to you and your family. 2005 was a record year for KCOMM and 2006 promises to be even better. With our work comes many experiences that memories that will last a lifetime. I want to thank my friends, associates and clients for their continued support, trust and future investment in our firm. I plan to launch several initiatives in 2006 including a Government Relations Practice, a 5-Star Service Alliance Organization, a School in Internet Marketing as well as my first publication, covering the behind the scenes of politics and business in Orange County. Community Foundation of Orange to Honor Philanthropist Parker Kennedy :.
 
On February 4, 2006, KCOMM will be joining local business and community leaders for a fun and festive event that will benefit a very worthy cause - and you're invited, too.

Roger C. Hobbs, Chairman of the Community Foundation of Orange, and Dr. James Doti, President of Chapman University, invite you to attend the Foundation's annual Black & White & Orange All Over gala.

With Doti serving as emcee, the Community Foundation of Orange will honor Orange County philanthropic champion Parker Kennedy, President and CEO of First American Corporation, with proceeds benefiting the Foundation's Hobbs Community Scholarship Program, youth programs and other community projects in Orange and Villa Park. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal, live music, a 1940s photo display and a fabulous auction.

OC Sheriff Candidate Hunt Presents Priorities :.
 
KCOMM CEO Sinan Kanatsiz joined hosts Mario Rodriguez, CEO of Jonathan Grey & Associates and former CA Republican Party Vice Chairman, Costa Mesa Mayor Allan Mansoor, Todd Rustman, President of GR Capital Asset Management, and other invited guests for a special meet & greet reception on December 12 with Orange County Sheriff candidate Lt. Bill Hunt.

Lt. Hunt, an Orange County deputy sheriff and San Clemente Chief of Police, met face-to-face with friends and supporters at the Center Club in Costa Mesa to talk about his candidacy to become Orange County's next Sheriff, answer questions and discuss his vision for the Orange County Sheriffs Department. Hunt cited a growing base of support from fellow law enforcement officers, elected officials, and business and community leaders. The election for Sheriff will take place next June.

"Lt. Bill Hunt has decades of law enforcement experience and the personal values and integrity to once again make public safety the top priority of the Orange County Sheriffs Department," said Mario Rodriguez. "His vision will bring a much-needed positive change."

Google Poised to Score Victory Over Microsoft :.
Technology titans bumping heads in battle over Internet advertising

Google would score a major victory over its rival Microsoft if it manages to close a deal and maintain its position as the primary search provider for America Online, industry analysts said Friday.

Google's victory is not yet assured, although the search technology leader appears to be getting close after months of negotiations. Google has entered exclusive talks over an arrangement that would include a $1 billion investment for a 5 percent stake in AOL, sources close to the negotiations said Friday. The deal was first reported in the online edition of The Wall Street Journal.

Even a year ago AOL commanded little respect in the business world after its disastrous merger with Time Warner led to years of turmoil, a tumbling stock price and uncertain business outlook.
