Information Sessions Offer
Chance to Learn About Insight
Each spring, we spread the word about Insight School through a series of information sessions in local communities for enrollment in the next fall semester. Parents and students are invited to learn about the benefits of an online high school, see a demonstration of an online classroom session, get information on the Insight Schools curriculum and social activities, and participate in a question and answer period. If you are currently an Insight family, we encourage you to let friends, associates and other family members who might be interested in a different approach to high school know about these sessions. And we encourage all others who would like to learn more about Insight to attend.

Spring Is Season for Student
Testing and Evaluation
It's a busy time of year for student testing and evaluation. Proctored California STAR testing is underway to assess learning during the school year in subjects including English, science, history and math with performance comparisons on a district and state level. California Physical Fitness Testing is also taking place with ninth graders required to meet state standards in five of six categories (and a do-over in tenth grade if necessary). The California High School Exit Exam will be given on May 12-13 for all seniors and juniors who have not yet passed it. For students planning to apply to colleges and universities, there is a May 5 deadline to register for the June 6 SAT test date and a May 8 deadline for the June 8 ACT test date. Is Online Education Resource
iNACOL, the International Association for Online Learning, is a non-profit organization that facilitates collaboration, advocacy and research to enhance the quality of K-12 online teaching and learning. It strives to ensure all students have access to a world-class education and quality online learning opportunities that prepare them for a lifetime of success. The association offers a wealth of information for administrators, teachers, students and parents to learn about the dynamic and fast growing online education environment.
