Golf Tournament To Benefit Girls and Boys Town
The Direct Office Solutions Golf Classic Benefiting Girls and Boys Town of Southern California, Sponsored by Toshiba, will take place on November 4 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. Created by Board of Trustees member and SoCal entrepreneur In Kim, participants in the tournament will be members of the Korean Investors and Traders Association (KITA) representing a group of prominent Korean companies with subsidiaries in the United States. Among those companies are Hyundai, Kumho and Samsung. Hyundai will be donating a car for the hole-in-one competition.
The purpose of the event is to introduce these businesses to the work being done for children by Girls and Boys Town, with Toshiba as funding sponsor for the tournament. Other sponsors include Begonia Baby, Big Dog Sportswear, Coca-Cola, Isu Chunha Insurance, Seaside Printing, U.S. Bancorp and U.S. Metro Bank.
