Girls and Boys Town Employee Spotlight: Meet Neda Zaengle
For those of you who don't know Neda Zaengle, she plays a vital role as Program Operations Manager for the Girls and Boys Town Southern California Chapter. A long time veteran in the non-profit and public services sector, Neda brings superior experience to this fast evolving organization. Graduating in 1992, Neda began working with at risk children, she held positions at the Orange County Facility Department, Olivecrest and at one point guided many autistic children.
Today, Neda supervises both the Orange County and Los Angeles programs. In Orange County she handles the Trabuco Residential Programs, the 0-8 Baby Home and the Family Based Services. Additionally, she manages the Los Angeles Price Family Shelter, the Long Beach Boys Shelter and will now be responsible for the new Compton Shelter. Neda has worked in a number of positions since her joining in 2000, working quickly up the ladder from Residential Consultant to Residential Program Director and now the Program Operations Manager. When asked how she feels her role at Girls and Boys Town utilizes her skills and talents she comments, ""I feel fortunate to be able to work with an amazing research based model that is proven to help children and families get better and lead more productive lives."
Neda is focused on implementing the Girls and Boys Town model, making sure the care staff has all the support they need to keep it alive and ultimately have the best outcome for the children. As the number one provider in the areas that the organization serves, Neda is proud to be a part of the Girls and Boys Town family.
