A Glorious Christmas
For most Los Angeles residents, the holidays are filled with joy; however, there are several individuals in need of assistance, especially during the holiday season. The Los Angeles Police Department, United States Secret Service and the California Highway Patrol this year combined their efforts to bring cheer, good tidings, food and even Santa Claus to those who were in need during the holidays.
In celebration of this holiday season the youth, families and staff of Girls and Boys Town of Southern California awaited the arrival of Santa and his Elves be escorted with a presidential motorcade that consisted of the U.S. Secret Service, 24 California Highway Patrol motorcycles and 10 Los Angeles Police Department cars at the Price Family Campus in Los Angeles. Gifts were presented to the children from the local Toys for Tots. Return to the Table of Contents |
