This year marks Endevco's 60th anniversary of providing the measurement community with the most trusted sensing solutions available for demanding shock, vibration and pressure applications. In those 60 years, we've had the privilege of helping to shape the industry we know today by guiding practices and standards, pursuing the most accurate measurement and calibration methods, and developing products that set industry benchmarks for precision, reliability and value.

Our gratitude for the support our customers have provided over the years exceeds any "thank you" we could communicate. So to show our appreciation, we are launching several entertaining competitions and valuable special offers throughout the year to celebrate this milestone with you.

COMPETITIONS

World's Oldest Functional Endevco Sensor
Join a worldwide search for the oldest functional Endevco sensor. Prize levels and entry details will be posted on the Endevco website in February and included in the next issue of Measurement Endeavors. For example, the Model 2252 pictured below was last calibrated on April 14, 1969 with a sensitivity of 2.18pC/g. The current calibration certificate dated January 19, 2007 shows the sensitivity at 2.112pC/g and a 5% linearity out to 20kHz. Now that's a reliable sensor! Be sure to check back with us in February, and in the meantime start looking for your oldest Endevco sensor.



Most Amazing Application Stories
With over 60 years of providing sensors for the world's most demanding applications, we know you have some great application stories and images. And this is the perfect time to share them. We're looking for stories and images that would leave the "Mythbusters" team speechless! Drop test of a tanker? Crash test at 300mph? How about the smallest vibration ever recorded? These are just examples of the stories we're looking for. More details will be posted in February, so stay tuned.

Best "Mission Critical" Success Story
The truest test of any sensor comes when it needs to perform under "Mission Critical" conditions. Share how Endevco helped you succeed in a critical situation. We know there are some real heroes out there who have made a difference in the world, and we're hoping to hear how Endevco played a part in your success! Again, more information will be posted in the coming weeks.

World's Oldest Endevco Literature
For decades Endevco has been publishing respected technical papers, test references and recommended practices Ð as well as very creative advertising campaigns over the years. We will be sharing some of these each month in Measurement Endeavors and looking for submissions from our colleagues throughout the world. Please send a description or electronic copy of the item to MEnewsletter@endevco.com and include "Endevco literature search" in the subject line. Submissions that are published in the Measurement Endeavors e-newsletter or on the Endevco website will receive special Endevco branded items including t-shirts, folios, laptop bags or premium pens.
