In high school I was somewhere between a girlie girl and a tomboy.

I don't think I want to grow up....but if I do, I think my next career will be in teaching.
What do you do for fun on weekends?
I have amazing friends & family so I enjoy spending time with them. I love watching a good movie, going for weekend trips, listening to live music (all kinds), shopping, and probably my favorite thing to do is play with my nieces & nephews!
What led you to being an HR coach?
I have worked in the HR field in some capacity for many years, so I think it was a natural progression. Being an HR Coach allows me a lot of flexibility.
Biggest struggles as an HR coach?
I think my biggest struggle is getting business owners to spend sufficient time on HR so I can show them the value I can add to their organization.
Biggest personal benefit of being an HR coach?
My clients give me the opportunity to partner with them to affect positive change in their organizations.
What do you like about Emplicity?
Emplicity is like a second family to me. We work together as a team and each employee is encouraged to be themselves. Lisa's constant support and knowledge has allowed me to grow as an HR professional.
What are your underlying motives with a new client?
To get to know the client and their organization and determine where their human resource needs are.
Favorite music, band, song of all time?
I love all types of music...even country. My mood usually dictates what I listen to, from Eric Clapton to AC/DC to George Strait and everything in between!
Favorite places to go?
I love to visit my parents in Northern CA, take weekend trips to San Diego, and was lucky enough to visit Europe this year!
