Emplicity Hits 11-Year Anniversary With Continued Growth and Accomplishments

Emplicity takes great pride in its mission: making employee management simple. Established in 1995, the company itself was simple - Emplicity only had one employee at an office in Pasadena.
Now, as it celebrates its 11th anniversary, Emplicity's well-revered customer service and the company itself have skyrocketed to new levels.

Marking its 11th year, Emplicity now manages a workforce of approximately 2,000 employees throughout the U.S. providing comprehensive, turnkey human resource management services to small to mid-size businesses.
And if 2006 is a sign, Emplicity is nowhere near slowing down.

One major milestone in 2006: opening an Emplicity office outside of California.
Emplicity officially opened its doors recently in San Antonio, Texas, launching the company's third regional office. Headquartered in Irvine, CA with another office in Redwood City, CA (Silicon Valley area), Emplicity pursued its San Antonio expansion because of the area's explosive growth potential. Plus, the company found a seasoned industry leader to manage the new location.
Tapped as Branch Manager of Emplicity's San Antonio office, Javier Meza, a San Antonio resident, will help drive the sales and servicing of human resource outsourcing and professional employer organization (PEO) clientele. Meza will help Emplicity grow its client base, continue hiring and establish a local support center for all of Texas.
Another significant goal achieved at Emplicity was launching its new online payroll and human resources portal, designed to empower its clients by further simplifying employee management and giving them added access, control and flexibility. Here's how.
The online payroll and human resources portal, "My Emplicity," has been redesigned from the bottom up with new management options, streamlined layout and powerful IBM back end technology. With increased functionality and security options, "My Emplicity" is your virtual resource to live employee and company data. "My Emplicity" integrates payroll, human resources, and benefits administration for management and employee users on the web.
Tanon has also been busy creating a buzz about Emplicity among some of the country's business elite outside of the employee management industry.
In 2006, Tanon was accepted into Birthing of Giants¨, an elite alumni group that includes Thomas Golisano, founder of Paychex; Ted Leonsis, president of America Online (AOL), Jim Koch, founder of Boston Brewing Company, and Jim McCann, founder of 1-800-FLOWERS. Jointly hosted by the world-renowned MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc., and the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), and now in its 12th year, the Birthing of Giants(R) program brings together 60 young entrepreneurs-each under the age of 40 for four days on a suburban campus of MIT.
This unique executive educational program has been designed to identify and bring together the next generation of entrepreneurial giants and provide an intense blending of practice and theory that is absolutely necessary to excel.
