Spirulina Builds Blood

Spirulina is a blue-green algae. The blue comes from its major pigment for gathering light energy from the sun, a brilliant blue polypeptide called Phycocyanin. Studies show that Spirulina Phycocyanin has very beneficial effects on the body. Not only is it a natural light activated antibiotic that kills many disease-causing bacteria and yeast, it also heals and normalizes the stem cells found in bone marrow.

Stem cells are "Grandfather" to both the white blood cells that make up the cellular immune system and the red blood cells that oxygenate the body. Chinese scientists have documented that Phycocyanin mirroring the effect of the hormone erythrpoetin (EPO) and stimulating hematopoiesis (the creation of blood). EPO is normally produced by healthy kidneys and regulates bone marrow stem cell, even when bone marrow cells are damaged by toxic chemicals or radiation.

Because of the many benefits of Spirulina on bone marrow and blood cell production, most everyone can be healthier with just a little of this blue-green wonder everyday.
