Barney & Barney Expands Southern California Presence with Appointment of Risk Management Specialist

We are very pleased to announce the selection of Mark Breneman as Account Executive in our Commercial Division. Mark brings substantial experience to the firm with a specialization in risk management solutions and will be serving clients throughout Southern California.

Prior to joining Barney & Barney, Mark served as Vice President of Origination for Aon Risk Services in Irvine. He also has been a senior finance executive in the Southern California region for Silicon Valley Bank where he worked with leading technology and life science companies, managed the bank's Los Angeles Office, and founded its Emerging Technology Division in Southern California.

Mark has served on professional organizations and boards including the Cal Tech/MIT Enterprise Forum, Software Council of Southern California, Los Angeles Venture Association, Orange County Venture Group, Tech Coast Venture Network, Business Technology Center, and Los Angeles Regional Technology Alliance.
